Introduction to Ship Loader

A ship loader is a large bulk machine used for loading ships in bulk terminals. The general ship loader is composed of a boom belt conveyor, a transition belt conveyor, a telescopic chute, a tail car, a running device, a gantry, a tower, a pitching device, and a slewing device. Large-scale port bulk material loading equipment plays an important role in the high-speed, stable, efficient and rolling development of energy, electric power, metallurgy, ports and other industries, especially some bulk bulk material distribution centers. Ship loader is usually a continuous ship loading operation. Therefore, there must be matching equipment to provide continuous material flow so that the ship loader can continuously load the ship. Such as the feeding of the granary of the grain terminal, the continuous feeding of the bucket wheel reclaimer in the material yard of the coal terminal, etc.

The development of global trade integration has promoted the global demand for bulk material transportation. From the perspective of major commodities, the seaborne volume of bulk cargo such as iron ore, coal, and grain has increased rapidly. Accompanying this development is the constant renewal of ocean-going bulk carriers. What followed is the demand for bulk cargo handling equipment for the construction of super ports that can dock and unload these large ships. The increase in the size of bulk carriers also poses new challenges for the design and manufacture of bulk cargo handling equipment. . According to the development trend of bulk cargo automation, some development trends of ship loaders can be predicted.
