Bucket wheel stacker reclaimer bucket wheel mechanism

What is the bucket wheel mechanism of bucket wheel stacker reclaimer ?

The boom-type bucket wheel stacker and reclaimer consists of a bucket wheel mechanism, a slewing mechanism, a belt conveyor, a tail car, and a pitching and running mechanism.

① Bucket wheel mechanism: It is the working mechanism for taking materials, including bucket wheel and its driving device. Bucket wheels are divided into three types: plain, semi-plain and regular. The bucket of the plain bucket wheel has no bottom. In the non-discharging area, the arc baffle fixed on the arm is used to block the bulk material in the bucket, and the bulk material slides on the arc baffle. In the discharging area, there is no arc baffle but a fixed inclined chute. When the bucket rotates with the wheel body to the discharging area, the material in the bucket slides to the belt conveyor through the inclined chute under the action of its own weight. Its discharging range is large, so the bucket wheel has a high speed, which can improve the operating capacity and can unload sticky materials. The structure of the semi-plain bucket wheel is similar to that of the plain bucket wheel, except that the bucket wall is extended to the center of the bucket wheel for a section, so that the distance between the arc baffle and the wheel body is increased to reduce the possibility of material jamming between the arc baffle and the wheel body. The bottom of each bucket of the regular bucket wheel is a fan-shaped inclined chute, but there are fixed side baffles in the non-discharging area. When the bucket rotates with the wheel body to a certain height, the bulk material in the bucket begins to slide along the fan-shaped inclined chute toward the center of the bucket wheel. When the bucket reaches the unloading area, the bulk material slides onto the belt conveyor through the inclined chute and the unloading plate because there is no side baffle to block it. The formatted bucket wheel unloads slowly and requires a larger bucket wheel diameter, but it will not cause material jamming and is suitable for hard materials. Among the three types of bucket wheels, the formatless one is the most widely used. There are two types of bucket wheel transmission methods: mechanical and hydraulic, and generally no speed regulation is required.
